Abiding by the keto diet doesn’t have to be daunting process. It’s hard to give up bread, but once you get established in your new normal, it becomes easier and easier. Whether you’re new to keto or a seasoned veteran to the lifestyle, we’ve got some quick and easy dinner ideas that will make eating a satisfying experience!

Whether it’s pizza, chicken, or vegetarian style that you love, there’s a keto way to enjoy it.

Pizza

The point of keto is to eat very few carbs. Low carb and pizza don’t typically go hand-in-hand. But, there’s a great recipe for low carb pizza that tastes great! Substitute typical carb-filled pizza crust for a crust substitute—cheese, cauliflower, or almond flour.

Though the crust is different, you can still load up on all of your favorite toppings. Add tomato paste, sour cream, or sun-dried tomato pesto as your sauce then add pepperoni, ham, sausage, bacon, chicken, ground beef, mozzarella cheese, parmesan, dried herbs, and all the veggies you can think of. Most large grocery stores now carry cauliflower and almond flour crusts.

It’s healthier, it’s filling, and it tastes great!

Chicken

The beauty of the keto lifestyle is that while there are changes to your diet, the food options are endless. You might not be able to carb-load, but you can still enjoy so many other foods! One of my favorite keto chicken meals is wings! You don’t have to sacrifice wings! It’s incredible.

Grab some drumsticks and wings from the grocery store. Marinate them in garlic sauce, with paprika, with ginger and chili flakes, or some other seasoning. Then, bake them in the oven at 450 degrees for 45 minutes.

Pasta Substitute

Keto lasagna—it’s a real thing. You might not be able to eat pasta for dinner, but you can still enjoy lasagna thanks to alternatives like psyllium husk powder. To make lasagna sheets, you’ll add eggs, cream cheese, and salt to a mixing bowl, adding in ground psyllium husk powder a little at a time. Place the batter on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Then flatten the batter with a rolling pin. Bake for about 10 minutes and you’ll have low carb lasagna sheets!
